Connect to eduroam: macOS

After the initial configuration, you should automatically connect to eduroam when you are using UVic's wireless network.
- Before you start this procedure, ensure the following:
- Your laptop is powered on and booted up.
- You are in an area with wireless coverage.
- You have a NetLink ID and password.
- At the top-right corner of your screen there should be the Wi-Fi icon.
- Click on the Wi-Fi icon (it may be partially darkened) to reveal a menu and then click on Turn Wi-Fi on.
- Select eduroam from the list of available networks.
- Enter your Username: [your NetLink ID]@uvic.ca] and Password, check the box beside Remember this network, and click on Join.
- You will be prompted to accept the eduroam Wi-Fi certificate. Click on Continue.
- You should now be connected to the eduroam secure wireless network.
