Wireless handheld

Wireless handheld

Details

Wireless handheld microphone: Wireless handheld microphones are very convenient due to the lack of cables. They can be placed in a mic clip on a stand or removed and held onto freely by the user. These devices can be handy for audience questions (sometimes moved around by a volunteer), a speaker who likes to move around, or for quick transitions between many speakers (pass mic, easy to share). Warning: using many wireless devices simultaneously increases the risk of interference.

NOTE: Microphones require a PA system to function. If you are not in a space with a pre-existing sound system, you will need to rent a full PA system.

Instructions

Our wireless handheld microphones run on two AA batteries. The kit will include the microphone with full batteries inside, the reciever, power cord, short XLR cable, mike clip, and one extra set of new batteries. Plug in the receiver into a power source and your sound system, connect the antennas, turn the receiver on (small screen lights up, displays frequency), and turn on the handheld microphone by holding the button on the bottom. The microphone is on when the small screen on the side lights up with the frequency # and battery level. Please note that briefly pressing the bottom button will mute and unmute the microphone.

Wireless lav

image

Details

Wireless lavalier microphone: These devices are designed to add supporting amplification to a speaker’s voice by using a small microphone clipped to the speaker’s clothing right beneath the voice box. The microphone is connected by short cable to a transmitter which can be clipped to a belt or kept in a pocket. These microphones are very sensitive which makes them great for helping to broadcast your voice in large auditoriums and provide better audio consistency when changing speaking direction. However the amplified volume level perceived by the user is usually not considered “loud’ like other microphones because feedback occurs due to the sensitivity. Consider it a supporting microphone with a moderate volume enhancement.

NOTE: Microphones require a PA system to function. If you are not in a space with a pre-existing sound system, you will need to rent a full PA system.

Instructions

Plug the receiver into your sound system using the XLR cable and the power cord. Carefully place the microphone and clip in front of your voice box and right below your collar for best sound amplification.

Wireless earworn

Wireless earworn

Details

Wireless earworn microphone:  These devices are worn over the ear, with the microphone positioned in front of the speaker's mouth. The microphone is connected by short cable to a transmitter which can be clipped to a belt or kept in a pocket. These microphones are very sensitive which makes them great for helping to broadcast your voice in large auditoriums and provide better audio consistency when changing speaking direction. They are often a more reliable choice than a lavalier microphone because they do not require a collared shirt to be worn correctly, and do not suffer from interference from necklaces or scarves. The amplified volume level perceived by the user is usually not considered "loud" like other microphones because feedback occurs due to the sensitivity. Consider it a supporting microphone with a moderate volume enhancement and high audio quality.

NOTE: Microphones require a PA system to function. If you are not in a space with a pre-existing sound system, you will need to rent a full PA system.

Instructions

Plug the receiver into your sound system using the XLR cable and the power cord. Carefully shape the device over your ear and position the microphone in front of your mouth.
