He is a past President and Executive Director of the International Society for Industrial Ecology.
Anne-Marie Daniel is a co-Founder and Partner in Roy Group, a Canadian coaching and training firm cultivating transformational leadership in business, government, education and social impact organizations. Her interest in innovation and worries about our environmental crisis led her to biomimicry in 2006. Biomimicry is the practice of learning from Nature’s billions of years of design experience to create products, processes, and systems. The goal is to secure personal and planetary health by looking to nature’s recipes and strategies which are time tested and life-friendly. NatuR&D, an innovation arm of Roy Group launched in 2018 and supports teams to transform everyday problems into designs that work with Nature.
Christine Lintott is the Founding Principal of Christine Lintott Architects Inc. She is a Registered Professional Architect in the Province of British Columbia, a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and a Certified Biomimicry Professional. Her built environment design expertise spans multiple typologies, from single family homes, to mixed use, to large scale residential, institutional and commercial projects, along with master planning of campus, industrial and community scale developments. Christine is an innovator in designing context appropriate solutions that aspire to benefit the broader community as well as the natural systems of place.
Bob brings 30 years of knowledge in public policy and programs in the mining, energy, agriculture, and environmental sectors. Most of his career has been dedicated to becoming an expert in extended producer responsibility (EPR) policy and program design.
Ted started his work career following completion of a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance at the University of Victoria (1980), teaching and directing employee fitness and lifestyle programs in Victoria, British Columbia and Calgary, Alberta. With a focus on community sustainability in his Masters of Public Administration, University of Victoria (1994).
Fraser is a municipal engineer and sustainability professional currently working in Tofino, British Columbia. Fraser completed a 20-year career in the Canadian Navy as a marine engineer and held posts in the UK, USA and across Canada as a ship's chief engineer and project manager in naval technology innovation, engine emissions and fleet renewal programs. After retiring from the navy, he transitioned to local government as the Director of Engineering and Public Works at the City of Victoria (2015 to 2020).
