Area of expertise

She has successfully integrated biomimicry as a methodology for achieving regenerative solutions at a project site scale, has fluency with the Living Building Challenge and is consulting on a number of circular economy strategies with a particular focus on local, food security projects. She is a strategic advisor for the University of Victoria’s School of Environmental Studies and the Industrial Ecology program, and her firm sponsors three graduate students developing progressive ecological practices to advance regenerative built environment design approaches. Christine is engaged with fellow biomimics in developing innovative built environment products and digital applications that inform environmental policy, design and implementation, all inspired by nature’s genius.
