Fraser Work

As the City's Engineer and their first Chief Sustainability Officer, Fraser initiated and led operational and strategic programs including major sustainability initiatives such as the Climate Leadership Plan, Sustainable Mobility Strategy and Zero Waste Victoria. In 2020, Fraser and his family transitioned to Tofino where Fraser took up the town's engineering role leading operational and infrastructure programs, which include the design and construction of their first Wastewater treatment plant. Fraser is a Mechanical Engineer and holds master's degrees in both Marine Engineering (University College London) and Sustainability and Environmental Management (Harvard University). He is an avid surfer and enjoys west coast living with his wife Gillian, his daughter Arwen and their dog Nuka.
