Course registration information
Registration for courses in the May term (Summer session) begins after mid-March. Registration for courses in the September and January terms (Winter sessions) begins after mid-June. Students will receive an email advising them of their assigned date and time to register.

On Campus Courses (Including synchronous online schedule)
NOTE: BSW students in the distance education program must participate in mandatory, real-time/synchronous class sessions as part of SOCW 312A or may be required to attend an on-campus face-to-face component of SOCW 312A. Further details of this course delivery format will be provided to incoming students and also posted to the UVic academic calendar after mid May.
On-campus students may choose either in-person or online synchronous delivery for SOCW 312A. As this is one of only a few courses that are offered on campus, we encourage students to choose the in-person option.
