• Design (design of costumes, sets, lighting or sound)
• Directing
• Performance
• Production & Management
• Theatre History
• Self Directed (self-initiated program that achieves your goals)
• or Interdisciplinary subjects (majors or minors with Theatre and other areas, including Writing)

Come learn about the University of Victoria’s unique comprehensive approach to theatre arts. Home to the Phoenix Theatre and many award winning productions, the Department of Theatre offers the academic and hands-on experience that produces internationally acclaimed theatre artists. Experience what our Department of Theatre has to offer:

• Take a backstage tour of our 3 theatres
• Watch a rehearsal scene for an upcoming production
• Meet and mingle with current students, faculty and staff.
• Learn about the specialization options and which courses to take
• Find out what you need to do to apply for next September

This event is now part of UVic's campus-wide Explore UVic event which includes an information fair, campus tours, presentations, sample lectures and faculty tours. Students should complete the registration form for Explore UVic and choose Theatre as their department of interest. The Explore UVic event offers free transportation from the ferry terminal to UVic campus.
