The Department of Theatre has a wonderful costume shop managed by a full-time Head of Wardrobe. Accompanying this costume construction area is a storage facility with over 15000 costume items, from shoes to hats, from basic black pants to fantastical, non-realistic wardrobe pieces.
All students gain basic skills in sewing and costume construction in their THEA 105 course and have the option to continue developing their skills further in THEA 205.
Costumes in the storage area are available for students to sign out for project use inside the building. The costume storage (Room 124) is usually open for perusing during the lunch hour. Look for posted hours.
