BFA Honours York University

Gregory has worked in theatre and event production since he was 13 years old and knew early on that this would be a fun and rewarding career! At York University he studied performance, theatre production, and visual art, graduating with a BFA Honours in 2007.

Gregory has worked as a Technical Director and Scenic Carpenter for many companies in Ontario, including the role of Head Carpenter at the Blyth Festival, and two years at the Canadian Opera Company as their Assistant Technical Director. Gregory seized his chance to move back to his hometown of Victoria by accepting the role of Technical Director at The Belfry Theatre where he helped produced ten seasons of shows. He is active in the live events industry, working with festivals such as Song and Surf, Tall Tree, and Sun Fest and Laketown Shakedown, and is a member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 168 specializing in rigging, carpentry, lighting and sound.

When not in a theatre, Gregory can be found on a bike polo court, on a mountainside engaging in mountain biking or telemark skiing or at home brewing cider.
