Patrick graduated with an Ocean Engineering degree from Florida Institute of Technology where he focused his Senior Marine Field Project on ocean energy. In 2012 Patrick was part of a team comprised of students, from 5 different countries, that redesigned, constructed, and tested the Wave Wing for Sebai CMET, learning first-hand the vast amount of power the ocean holds.
After school he continued working construction before starting with a dredging company. He was thriving though his passion for wave energy had not faltered, this brought him driving across the continent to join the strong team at the University of Victoria. Patrick Currently in working with a point absorbing wave energy converter focusing on optimization through control systems. Outside of the office you will find him seeking thrills, what ever the form may be.
