Erika Brown

Erika Brown is a graduate student within the West Coast Wave Institute research group working on the SNL-SWAN wave model code. She did her undergraduate studies at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador in Ocean and Naval Architectural Engineering where she also learnt the joys of coastal weather.

Prior to joining the group, Erika worked overseas in the marine renewable industry where she was able explore parts of Europe and Southeast Asia. Now back in Canada, she is enjoying being able to drive on the right side of the road and likes spending her spare time outside - either on land or on the water - without having to worry about poisonous creatures or sharks.
