Fellowships and awards

The CFGS offers fellowships for graduate students (Masters and PhD), visiting fellows and UVic faculty members.

The 6 fellowship streams currently offered are: 

• UVic Graduate Students
• UVic Faculty
• Visiting Researchers
• Visiting Graduate Students
• Harold Coward India Research Fellowship

Expectations of all fellows:

• conduct their work in the centre's quarters
• participate actively in the programs and activities of the Centre
• give at least one public seminar or lecture on the theme of their research
• acknowledge the CFGS in all publications arising from the fellowship and notify the centre of any such presentations, books or articles for inclusion in our database.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN AND ARE DUE NOVEMBER 15TH. 

Please note: Proposals submitted outside of the regular application deadline schedule (especially those that are not stipendiary) may also be considered at the discretion of the director.
