Field School (MEDI 495)

In previous years, the UVic Medieval Studies Program has taken students to Montpellier (2009), Ely (2013), and Aix-en-Provence (2014). Wherever we go next, the field study will get you out of the classroom and provide an exciting experiential learning opportunity. It will introduce you to medieval worlds through architecture, art, religion, philosophy and history, in varying locations. What’s more, our field school will earn you 3.0 units towards the new Humanities Global Language and Culture (GLC) Requirement.
