Student exchanges
The European Studies program aims to assist students in finding suitable internships and exchange opportunities in Europe.
Going on exchange or participating in a field school or an internship in Europe is a great way to gain valuable knowledge and experience while completing course requirments and earning credit.
The European Studies program works closely with the International Exchanges Student Services office to ensure that students are well prepared for studying abroad. Luckily for us, UVic has exchange agreements with roughly 53 universities worldwide, meaning that there are many in Europe to choose from.
Many departments across campus also offer students the option of participating in field schools or summer programs in Europe. In the past this has meant programs such as the International Field School Program: UVic in Greece and The Candian Summer School in Germany in Kassel (CSSG).
To explore your options further you can visit the International Exchange Student Services webpage, contact the program coordinator, or browse the list of helpful links for internships and work at the bottom of the page.
