Residence and student life

Thinking about living on campus? Take a tour through the different room types on the UVic campus. Check out lounges, laundry rooms and other amenities.

It's an understatement to say that the transition from high school to university is a big step! If this is the first time you've lived away from home (and even if it's not), it's okay to be a little anxious about the changes ahead of you.

More importantly, it's okay to ask for help when you need it.

In addition to our supportive student community, there are thousands of staff members at UVic dedicated to your health, wellbeing and success. Whether you need tips on how to study, advice on diet and exercise, or are just looking for something fun to do, we've got you covered.

On-campus residence

If you're a current high school student in your graduating year, we guarantee you a room in an on-campus residence. Other students can apply for our undergraduate lottery, and accommodations are also available for students with families.
