Graduate Diploma
We invite you to apply for an innovative, accessible Graduate Diploma in Public Health. You will gain an introductory understanding of core public health knowledge as well as an introduction to your chosen area of focus.
The Graduate Diploma is 12.0 units of coursework compared to the MPH which consists of 21.0 units of coursework.

Studies include public health core courses and a choice of one of 3 areas of focus:
- Indigenous Peoples’ Health
- Public Health Nursing
- Social Policy
A 225 hour practicum provides an opportunity for you to practice and demonstrate public health knowledge and skills within professional practice setting. A culminating project completes your program.
Flexible learning options
You'll complete the courses online in your own community and attend 3 on-campus experiences at the University of Victoria.
