Dual Degree eligibility & requirements

Dual Degree students apply for entry directly into year 3 of the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) program, after successfully completing a minimum of 2 years at their home institution. 

Eligibility

Gustavson’s Dual Degree program is open to 2nd and 3rd year international students who are currently studying at one of our Dual Degree partner universities

Please contact your home institution to enquire about specific dual degree admissions requirements.

All applicants to UVic (regardless of country of origin or citizenship status) are required to demonstrate competence in the English language. Learn about UVic's English language requirement.

Submitting documents

Below is a list of items that need to be completed as part of your application:

  1. Prepare your supplemental application.
  2. Go to EducationPlannerBC to apply and submit your documents.
    • you can pay the application fee by credit card through EducationPlannerBC
  3. After submitting, please notify the Gustavson International Office that you have applied to the Dual Degree program.
  4. Have the English Proficiency Test Centre send your TOEFL or IELTS exam results directly to UVic. Please send the Gustavson International Office a screenshot.
  5. Have your home university coordinator send your digital transcripts directly to: adms5@uvic.cabcomad@uvic.ca and GSBIntlAsctDir@uvic.ca.
  6. If you are taking courses in the spring and/or summer term that are not reflected in your submitted transcript, please send a Word document with the list of courses to the Gustavson International Office.

We recommend emailing us a copy of your application documents by the January 31 application deadline.
