Are you a high school or college student in the US considering Canada as a study destination? Take a trip to Victoria, Canada on Presidents' Day Weekend and discover the benefits of studying at the University of Victoria.

Who should attend?
- US high school students in grades 10 –12 (including Canadians attending US schools)
- students transferring to UVic from US post-secondary institutions
- parents and families welcome!
What can I do at Discover UVic USA?
- take a tour of our beautiful park-like campus with a current UVic student as your guide, and see facilities for learning, wellness, dining and living
- attend a presentation to explore the benefits of studying on Canada’s spectacular west coast, and discover what makes UVic unique
- participate in a student-experience panel and meet current UVic students, learn about their experiences and ask questions about student life at UVic
- attend a sample lecture given by a UVic professor: “Dive into University Life: 5 Top Tips for Success in First Year”
- learn about academic programs and student support services
- take an optional bus tour of Victoria – one of Canada’s most beautiful cities!
- enjoy a complimentary lunch
Bus tour of Victoria
A bus tour of beautiful Victoria follows the on-campus portion of Discover UVic USA. The tour is free for all attendees, but space is limited. Registration is required.
