Online tools help

What's new

Online tools have been updated and expanded to include several new areas: Student, Employee and Instructor services. These areas let you access the same functionality previously available in My page with a new streamlined look and feel and navigation that matches the new uvic.ca web site.

These are some frequently asked general questions. Check out our other help pages for more specific information for students, employees, and instructors.

Student tax forms are located under the Finances drop-down in the Student services menu. More detailed instructions can be found on the Student help page.

Employee tax forms are located under the Tax forms drop-down in the Employee services menu. More detailed instructions can be found on the Employee help page.

Grades and transcripts can be found under the Grades & records drop-down in the Student services menu. More detailed instructions can be found on the Student help page.

You can view and update your personal information under the Your profile drop-down menu. More detailed instructions can be found on the Profile help page.

Try refreshing your web browser or logging out and back into Online tools.

Your tax forms should open in another web browser tab so you can download or print them. Check your browser's security settings if the new tab isn't opening properly for you.

You'll need a valid Netlink ID to login to Online tools. If you need to reset your passphrase or manage your Netlink account, check out the UVic Netlink ID page.

If you don't have a Netlink ID, you can get your Netlink ID by following the instructions that are most relevant to you (undergraduate or graduate student, current or former faculty and staff, Continuing Studies student, former students and alumni, or affiliate).

Your Online tools dashboard is provisioned using your active role at UVic. If you're able to login to Online tools but don't see any services, please contact the Computer Help Desk.

Continuing Studies has their own online portal where you can find your student information, course registration, and more.
