Computer labs at UVic
University Systems provides general use computer labs for drop-in and classes. Our facilities include resources for students and instructors like printing, specialty equipment, and study spaces.
Hours & locations
Winter break
All computer labs will be closed for the winter break starting Wednesday, December 25th and will reopen on Thursday, January 2nd.
We have modified hours on:
- Monday, December 23rd
- Clearihue lab open from 8am-10pm
- BEC lab open from 8am-6pm
- Others closed
- Tuesday, December 24th
- Clearihue lab open from 8am-4pm
- Others closed

There are general use drop-in computers located throughout the Library building.

Located in the Engineering Lab Wing and Engineering & Computer Science building- These labs are restricted to Engineering students and instructors

SIM Labs
Located in the Fine Arts Building in FIA 215 and FIA 236- These labs are restricted to students in Fine Arts courses

Geography Geomatics labs
Located in the David Turpin Building in DTB A249, DTB A251, and DTB A253.- These labs are restricted to students in Geography courses
