Why is the Earth’s climate changing? Learn about the science of human-caused climate change and the science of climate solutions. You’ll use programming, mapping and data science to better understand the impacts of climate change on communities. Learn how to communicate climate science to people making real-world decisions.

Are you interested in the forces that shape the Earth’s surface? Curious about natural resources and human impacts on the environment? Interested in remote sensing and digital mapping? This program lets you study the way Earth’s natural systems work.
This combined program offers the opportunity to complete the coursework required to obtain your professional geoscientist (P.Geo.) designation – a requirement for working as a geoscientist in BC.
