Bio

Bo is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at UVIC working in financial market microstructure research, with a focus on high-frequency trading. Bo also holds a Master of Financial Engineering degree from New York University and a Master of Computer Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to embarking on his academic journey, Bo spent several years working in the investment and commercial banking industry as a data analytics associate and credit risk manager in both New York and Hong Kong.
