Declaring your major

After you've completed at least 12 units, you can declare your major. Declaring your major will help you plan your program and career and gives you more opportunities to connect with UVic Science community. You may qualify for scholarships or opportunities within your department. And you'll have better access to research opportunities, exchanges, and other study-abroad or co-op experiences. 

Once you've decide on your major:

1. Go to your MyPage.
2. Click on Student Services
3. Click on the Grades & records tab
4. Click on Program declaration or change
