Core Equipment Facility

The Core Equipment Facility offers the use of a Cytation 5 Live Cell Imager and a CytoFLEX SRT Cell Sorter for your research needs.

Scheduling time on equipment

To schedule a time to use the CytoFLEX cell sorter or Cytation 5 cell imager, please use the resource calendar system.

Through Outlook, the process for opening the resource calendar is:

1. Click the Calendar icon on the left.
2. Select ‘Search Calendar” and begin typing the name of the resource calendar (either “CytoFLEXcellsorter’ or ‘Cytation5cellimager’)
3. Select the name of the resource calendar and click 'Okay.’
4. Use Outlook to schedule a meeting invite with the resource calendar at your desired time.
5. You will receive a notification that your request has been accepted by the personnel managing the core facility.

Note: You will need to open the resource calendar before sending the meeting invite to first see what times are available.
