Waitlist

September 2024:

A new housing waitlist will become active on August 30, 2024. This new waitlist is intended for students who are still interested in on-campus accommodation for the fall 2024 term. 

Until 4 p.m. PDT on August 29, we will continue to offer available rooms to students in order of the first-year waitlist, and undergraduate and graduate lotteries. In order to expedite the room offer process as of August 30, we will only offer rooms to students who have expressed interest in remaining on the new waitlist. 

ALL APPLICANTS will be removed from the current waitlists as of 9 a.m. PDT on Friday, August 30. If you are still interested in on-campus housing after August 30, you must add your name to the new waitlist. 

How the new waitlist works:

  • The waitlist will be available on Friday, August 30, at 9 a.m. PDT
  • First-year students on the new waitlist will be prioritized for dormitory spaces, ahead of other applicant groups (upper-year undergraduate and graduate)
  • Rooms will be offered in waitlist order as availability allows and cannot be guaranteed. If you receive an offer, you will have 48 hours to accept the offer.
  • This new waitlist will remain in effect from August 30 until late-September.
  • Please note: If you intend to apply for only the Spring 2025 term (January to April 2025) do not add your name to this waitlist. The application for Spring 2025 will open on October 21, 2024 at 9 a.m. in the Housing Portal.
  • All fall term residence fees must be paid in full prior to moving into residence.
