Summer safety tips

New sexualized violence policy

The Board of Governors has approved a new policy on the prevention, education and response to sexualized violence for the University of Victoria, marking the next step toward the policy’s adoption and implementation in May.
Input invited on draft sexualized violence policy

Sexualized violence is unacceptable and prohibited at UVic. In its work to address sexualized violence as a significant and systemic societal and campus issue, the university is inviting comment on a draft policy to be released Feb. 6, which will apply to all campus members.

WorkSafeBC has introduced new policies on workplace bullying and harassment. These policies set out requirements for employers, employees and supervisors to prevent and address workplace bullying and harassment. The policies took effect on November 1, 2013.
