Being agents of change: UVic supports United Way

Thanks to generous donations from individuals and well-attended campus events, the final fundraising tally for the 2013 UVic United Way campaign reached a thermometer-topping $254,445. In 2012, the UVic campaign raised $250,647. The 2013 campaign also welcomed 82 new donors.

“UVic has a proud tradition of supporting United Way and I thank all of our community members who gave so generously again this year,” says UVic campaign chair Mary Ellen Purkis.
