Expert on McKenzie Interchange design concepts

The following University of Victoria expert is available to media to discuss the design options unveiled by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure yesterday as potential improvements to the McKenzie Interchange.

Dr. Scott Iverson (Engineering) has expertise in sustainable transportation systems engineering. He can discuss his general impressions concerning trade-offs of the three designs including considerations such as: traffic flow, queuing, idling and air pollution, aesthetics, and cycling and pedestrian infrastructure.
