Map collections
The archival holdings at University of Victoria Special Collections with cartographic materials include: early maps of Victoria and British Columbia; numerous historical maps from around the world held in the Brown Collection; military maps of Europe during World War I and World War II.
In addition to our map collections, UVic Libraries Digital Collections has made available early maps of Victoria and British Columbia from the National Archives of England and the Hudson's Bay Company Archives as well as fire insurance maps of Victoria.
