Index of Christian Art, Princeton University

This database contains three main authority files: Work of Art Records, Subject Records (the classification terms used to index the works of art) and the Bibliographic Records (citations which support the above two files). These three files may be used independently or else in combination. As of June 2005 the database contains:

  • Subject records: 28,000
  • Bibliographic records: 37,000

The Centre for Studies in Religion and Society

The Centre for Studies in Religion and Society (CSRS) was established at the University of Victoria in 1991 to foster the scholarly study of religion in relation to any and all aspects of society and culture, both contemporary and historical. Its primary aim is to promote dialogue between religion and other aspects of human experience, especially concerning questions of human values, knowledge and technology.

Their mission is to foster excellence in the academic study of religion and enhance the public understanding of religion. They are committed to promoting academic excellence, professional responsibility, free inquiry, critical examination, diversity, inclusion, respect, and transparency within the academic study of religion and in our own work.

Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about the issues, attitudes and trends shaping the world. We conduct public opinion polling, demographic research, content analysis and other data-driven social science research.


Immanent Frame: Secularism, religion, and the public sphere

The Immanent Frame publishes interdisciplinary perspectives on religion, secularism, and the public sphere. Founded in October 2007 in conjunction with the Social Science Research Council’s program on Religion and the Public SphereThe Immanent Frame features invited contributions and original essays, and serves as a forum for ongoing exchanges among leading thinkers from the social sciences and humanities.
