Jim and June Young Memorial Scholarship

One or more scholarships are awarded to undergraduate or graduate students in the Department of Philosophy.

Letters of application must be submitted to the chair by March 15 each year. Your letter should include descriptions of your involvement with social democracy and/or industrial democracy.

The Kenneth W. Rankin Outstanding MA Thesis Award

This award is for theses successfully defended in the Department of Philosophy each year ending 31 August. Normally only one thesis will receive the award, but it may be shared if the adjudication committee determines that two theses are equally deserving. If no thesis is sufficiently deserving, the award will not be made.
