Deryck P. Harry

Deryck's degrees may say history and English, but he considers himself to have been a medieval studies student—his time in the program was the most influential part of his studies at UVic. He says it greatly improved the research skills he uses every day in law school.

Despite not being a medieval studies major or minor, I was warmly welcomed by its members and can name some of them my closest friends. If it wasn't for the medieval studies program I don't know if I would have been as successful in university. This program helped me grow into the person that I am now.
