The School of Health Information Science, University of Victoria, is proud to offer the 15th ITCH conference February 14–17, 2019, at the Ocean Pointe Resort.

In March 1986 the School of Health Information Science and the British Columbia Ministry of Health sponsored a Canadian colloquium with an international flavour addressed the impact of information technology on community health. This small, successful gathering was the predecessor of the ITCH (Information Technology in Community Health) conferences which followed in 1987, 1988, 1990, 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998 and 2000. After a brief hiatus, the conference returned in 2007 renamed Health Information and Communications in Health and has been growing steadily.
