• $450 pays for a student to take one course
• $2,500 pays a student's tuition for one semester
• $5,000 pays a student's tuition for one year
• $20,000 pays a student's tuition for 4 years
• $25,000 establishes an endowed named bursary or scholarship
• $50,000 establishes an endowment for more than one undergraduate student
• $100,000 establishes a graduate student award

Royal Jubilee Hospital nurse Devlin McDermitt did not anticipate the heavy demands that followed her calling to become a nurse. "Although the program has been challenging, and has required more than I thought I could give, it is well worth the time and effort," says McDermitt. The Greene Scholarship provided her with much-needed financial assistance and motivated her push on so much so that her dedication and hard work have now been recognized. That is exactly what the Greenes envisioned—recognizing the power of student financial aid. The Greenes established their endowed scholarship after many years of supporting UVic students through annual gifts. Now the Greene's generosity is providing a legacy of support that will continue to help aspiring nursing students like Devlin achieve their dreams for years to come.
