Professional degree cohorts

Cohort programs are based on our regular Masters degree programs structure in different areas and use a combination of onsite, online, and hybrid course models, and provide professional learning in curriculum leadership. The following programs are currently offering as discrete cohorts:

  • Art Education (ongoing)
  • Curriculum Studies: Curriculum Leadership in BC (ongoing)
  • Curriculum Studies: International Cohort
  • Early Childhood Education MEd Cohort (ongoing)
  • Language and Literacy: Current Trends K-8 (ongoing)
  • Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Educational Technology MEd Cohort (ongoing) (focus on Educational Technology)

Our degrees are taught by experienced faculty, and yet our costs are very competitive. Programs’ tuition fee is approximately $11,000 (based on domestic fees). Programs courses are delivered over five terms. All of our professional degrees are cohort-based, enabling a strong and supportive professional community to develop, and to ensure completion of the degree in a timely way.

If you would like our department to consider offering a cohort in your area/district, please contact Graduate Advisor Dr. Kathy Sanford at (250) 721-7804.
