As an employer, you can engage with UVic student and alumni through on-campus and virtual events.

In-Person Career Fair
We’re currently planning our first in-person career fair since 2019!
The fair will be held on February 24 + 25, 2027.
Employer Symposium
This series of virtual sessions was hosted and recorded by UVic Co-op and Career Services staff to provide employers with insights to help shape the future of work.
Highlights included:
- A keynote presentation by Stephanie Cadieux, Canada's first Chief Accessibility Officer, on workplace accessibility
- Data-driven tips for job postings that attract top student talent
- Hiring practices for international, Indigenous, and new graduate employees
- The role of AI in recruitment and career readiness
- And more!
Interview clinics
Promote your organization to new co-op students by volunteering at an interview clinic and giving students a chance to practice their interview skills before starting their work search.
You’ll join other employers to interview co-op students and provide on-the-spot feedback. Each interview and feedback session is about 25 minutes.
Interviews may be in person or virtual. Contact your co-op program to volunteer.
Events for Indigenous students
We run a series of events for Indigenous students each year, including career fairs and mock interview clinics.
Employer information sessions
Raise your organization’s profile with UVic students and alumni through hosting an employer information session. Email us about:
- sessions for students in all program areas
- sessions for business students
- sessions for engineering and computer science students
Set up your own virtual session, promote your event through your own networks and connect with relevant UVic student clubs or course unions. We may promote your session on our online events calendar and social media channels.
