Terri oversees the lab program for all things Remote Sensing related. Her BSc. Honours and MSc. were both completed here at UVic, under the supervision of Dr. Maycira Costa in the SPECTRAL Remote Sensing Lab. Terri’s graduate research focused on the use of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery to map the diverse habitats and hydrological features of the Pantanal wetlands (Brazil). She has extensive knowledge of remote sensing processes and applications, theory and practical skills. Terri also has broad experience with various sensors, including: multi and hyperspectral, infrared, LIDAR and radar. She is fascinated by the interactions of different wavelengths of light with the living earth.

Outside of UVic, Terri is a budding farmer and herbalist, and a life-long seeker of knowledge.
