Arelia Werner

Arelia is a hydrologist at the Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium, where she is investigating the influence of climate change on streamflow for several major watersheds in BC. Her areas of expertise include hydrologic modelling, selecting global climate models, evaluating future projections and statistical downscaling.

I started my work with PCIC in 2006 as a co-op student while working towards my MSc in geography at UVic. The understanding I gained in the area of climate variability and change and hydrologic modelling for my MSc project was of great interest to PCIC and my work is focuses on these topics to this day.
