Hi, my name is Amanda and I am a PhD Student in the Digital Health Lab who started in September 2022. Prior to starting my PhD, I completed my MSc in the lab where I conducted usability and feasibility testing for an 8-week financial incentive and physical activity mobile app. In my PhD, I hope to expand on these topics and explore different methodologies for delivering effective financial incentive interventions for physical activity promotion, including incorporating just-in-time incentivized adaptive interventions. Outside of my research, I work for Pathverse, a no-code app builder developed in the Digital Health Lab, sharing it with other researcheres who could benefit from an app building tool for their own research. Additionally, I work as a Recreation Aide in a tertiary care home. When I am not working, I enjoy running, mountain biking, cycling, skiing, and good coffee.
