Liam O'Malley
Liam was born in Cape Town, South Africa and was brought up in Duncan, BC, Canada. After doing his first two years of undergraduate studies in biology at UBC, he transferred to UVIC to specialize in Neurobiology. These have all been steps in chasing medical school dreams.
Liam loves being out in nature, which has led to a fun young career in Wildfire Fighting. All else fails, he day he might try to combine all these outlets and become a fire paramedic.
Outside of academics, he has loved playing soccer, field hockey, and tennis. This early passion for exercise drove a now persisting love for weightlifting, triathlon, and exercise science.
