About

I recently completed an MSc Kinesiology at UVic under Dr. Patti-Jean Naylor with a focus on implementation of early-intervention childhood obesity programs. I also have a B.A. Recreation & Health Education from UVic. After my undergraduate degree, I coordinated the provision of high performance sport services at the Canadian Sport Institute Pacific, and supported Team BC athletes and coaches at the Western Canada and Canada Summer Games.

While very passionate about sport, I realized my true passion lies in health promotion. I’m thrilled to be able to combine my passion and education to help others become healthier and more physically active. In the Digital Health Lab, I am a research assistant for Generation Health, a family healthy living program delivered across BC. I am also a research trial coordinator in UVic’s Behavioural Medicine Lab.

My hobbies include hiking, tennis, running, yoga, gardening, and live music. While originally from Bermuda, I love exploring Vancouver Island and the rest of the west coast just as much :)
