Qian Zhang is a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Yang Shi in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. She graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2016, with her Bachelor's degree and Master’s degree in Control science and Engineering.
She joined Uvic in September 2016 to pursue her PhD degree in control theory. Her research is focused on event-based sampling, model predictive control, robust control.
