Mahsa Torabi is a Ph.D. student in Civil engineering at the University of Victoria. Her doctoral research focuses on low-carbon building design. Mahsa holds a Master’s degree in Energy and Architecture from the University of Tehran, where she graduated as an honor student and was awarded the Student Design Project of the Year. A substantial portion of her work at the graduate level has involved researching the environmental impact of building, life-cycle analysis, and building energy simulation within the construction sector. Her main research interest examines the intersection of low-carbon buildings and high-performance Architecture utilizing artificial intelligence within the built environment.
