Qasim Muhammad (he/him) received a Bachelor of Engineering in transportation engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology in Lahore, Pakistan in 2016. In 2019, he received his Master of Science degree in transportation engineering with an emphasis on public transport operations from the Budapest University of Technology & Economics in Budapest, Hungary. He is working toward his Ph.D. degree in civil engineering at the University of Victoria, Victoria, Canada. His current research interests include air pollution modeling, transport planning, pollution mitigation strategies in densely populated areas, climate change, and the impacts of traffic on the environment.
