Aidan completed his MASc under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Rowe in 2022, focusing on characterizing transient heat transfer in magnetic refrigerators. During his masters he developed an interest in Digital Twins, and applied this interest during a brief stint in the private industry as a thermal engineer.
Aidan began his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Curran Crawford in April of 2023. His current research focuses on combining physics and data driven modelling approaches to predict the degradation and failure of PEM water electrolyzers.
