Rowan is a Master's student in the School of Public Administration, researching 'just transitions' policies in Western Canada under the supervision of Dr. Katya Rhodes.
Prior to beginning the Master of Public Administration program and joining IESVic, Rowan had a varied career including economic development project management at the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce (2021-2023) and science communication at the UK's National Centre for Earth Observation. He has since worked at the B.C. Ministry of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness (2024) as an analyst.
Rowan enjoys exploring B.C., especially when it involves mountain biking and snowboarding.
