McKenzie Fowler graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in May 2016 with a BSE in Mechanical Engineering. She dedicated time during her undergraduate career to using an energy policy and investment simulator to teach both high school and undergraduate students about energy transition and climate change goals. McKenzie’s senior project focused on creating an anemometer system for the Mount Washington Observatory in North Conway, New Hampshire along with a small group of other student engineers.

In the fall of 2016, she began work on her MASc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Victoria. McKenzie will complete research with the 2060 Project team under the joint supervision of Dr. Peter Wild and Dr. Andrew Rowe.

In her free time McKenzie enjoys hiking, climbing, and traveling.
