Eryn Fitzgerald

Eryn is doing her MA in political ecology at the School of Environmental Studies under the supervision of Dr. Karena Shaw and Dr. Judith Sayers. She has an enduring interest in how the public engages with complex political systems and is currently fascinated by the intersection of community energy, energy democracy, and Indigenous resurgence. Her research examines First Nation involvement in British Columbia's renewable energy sector. She holds a BA in Criminology from the University of Alberta and has worked in the field of community relations since 2008.
