Laura obtained her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana in 2021. Following her graduation, she was offered a position within the Civil Engineering Department, where she served as a Teaching and Research Assistant specializing in Highway and Transportation Engineering for a duration of 8 months.
At present, Laura is actively pursuing a Master of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Victoria. Her passion and dedication revolve around issues pertaining to transportation systems, particularly their effects on population exposure and air quality. She is deeply invested in the development and application of traffic and emission models to quantify the environmental and health impacts associated with these systems.
