Andrea Vargiu

Andrea Vargiu was associate professor of Sociology at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Sassari (Italy) and President of the MA Course in Social work and Social policies. He coordinates the Foist Laboratory for Social Policies and Training Processes. 

Andrea has been recently appointed as Rector’s delegate for the Third mission (Humanities and Social Sciences area) of the University of Sassari. With a solid record in action research and CBR (Community Based Research), Andrea studies civic engagement of universities, social policies and organized solidarity.
